The Deliciously Good and the Suffocatingly Bad...

Manna from heaven has arrived to the island! Hallelujah! Saturday was the first time in a year that I have seen and been able to buy a watermelon. Oh sure, you can buy the little bitty Korean ones for $20.00 just to open it up to mushy sweet-stuff but that just doesn't satisfy. Thank you Mexico for growning delicious watermelons! I bought one Saturday morning and then had to return that night for another one before they were gone.

Now, for the bad. Logan can't breathe here. He seemed ok throughout the fall and winter but he is now struggling. He is attached to a nebulizer at least 3x and usually 4x a day; poor kid. We are permanently camping out at the ped's office until I can have my healthy son back again.

Happy for all of you and your watermelon, but very sad to see Logan and how he is doing... Hope he gets on his feet soon

Whoa! Did you buy this at the commissary? Yum!
Poor little Logan. He'll be back on his feet in no time! We'll keep praying for you and your family.

Yes, the commissary. For once, the commissary came through for me!

Yikes. I was gone a week and missed something--watermelon and Logan being this sick. I'm sorry he's so sick. We'll chat soon.

Why can't Logan breathe?

And...I'm glad you didn't have to pay $20 for the watermelon...although, sometimes when you want it bad enough, it's tempting to splurge, huh?

Logan seems to be having (along with the rest of us, but Logan in particular)major respiratory stress with new allergens in the air...mold, coral dust, sugar cane etc. It is a jungle out here and you just can't breathe!

Nice to see how you've been.
