A few girls from the branch offered to take a few family pictures of us on the beach here in Oki. It was just perfect for pictures...and by that I mean the sun was far too bright in our eyes, it was raining AND is was horribly windy. :)
But, with lots of patience from everyone, we were able to go to two different locations and take a few pictures. Thank you so much to Bambi and Fayette for taking these for us!
I won't give a running commetary on all of these pictures but if are wondering what we are all looking at in our hands it is hermit crabs. The beach was crawling with them and we all had fun catching them and comparing whose was best.

Wow those pictures are Great! I'm sure you guys are really going to miss it, what an awesome experience. Good luck with the move and adjusting to California. Maybe we will see you if were ever in Santa Clara at the same time.
What a beautiful family you have, Kathryn! I loved the post you wrote about how you will miss the culture and wonderful people there. Sounds like Japan treated you well. Good luck with the move...can't wait to see pics of your new home and life!
Beautiful! I'm so glad you took time to take so many pictures. It will keep that memory fresh and crisp in all your minds. Evan mentioned something about Cleveland the other day, that even I'd forgotten. I asked him how in the world did he remember that? He said, "I remember you let me take a picture of it with your Mommy camera." I'll be keeping you in my prayers during this HUGE cross-continent transition. I LOVE THESE PICTURES! But it makes me miss you. :)
Cathryn,
What neat pictures.
I would like to print the family pic
as you sitting with the ocean in the background.
Would that be possible?
